The Park method is above
all a philosophy defined by two basic ideas:
|
a territorial logic and a goal of sustainable
development which underlie a holistic and multidisciplinary approach,
based on municipal cooperation, partnerships and consultation.

A living area |

The Park covers
an area of 145,000 acres of which 25,000 are wetland zones made
up of the Cotentin and Bessin marshes. In this area, which is strongly
invested by agricultural activity, the landscapes
|
|
still
have a human dimension, are exceptionally untouched and biologically
diverse. |

organizations The Park's Charter is a project for the area, which
provides for and implements the preservation and the enhancement
of a remarkable natural and cultural heritage,

while

The implementation of the charter implies employing
a team of technicians, who are at the service of local authorities
and project sponsors.

|
It
is multidisciplinary and capable of taking on a great variety of missions. |
